SanRa Communicates with Sequoias and Saguaros

Announcement: The Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair will be this Sunday, July 2, at the DoubleTree Inn across from Reid Park, in Tucson, AZ. I hope to see you there!

Guest Post - SanRa Communicates with

Sequoias and Saguaros

Psychic ability is expressed a surprising variety of ways. A few months ago, I met a woman at the Psychic Fair who told me that she communicates with trees and saguaro cactus. I thought you might be interested in reading about her work. Today, in a guest post, SanRa shares her experience with us:

Robert and I have been in Sequoia National Park and King's Canyon National Park in California, USA, for the past week. It has been quite the experience. These parks are located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in California and have a beauty all their own, and a wonderful majestic energy of the towering trees of all kinds. We were in awe of the beauty of the trees, the mountains, the fields of tiny and delicate looking wildflowers, the meadows and the mountains themselves, some still with snow.

The Sequoias were the high point, and the reason for, the trip. They were amazing! Not only the size (they are considered the largest trees in the world by volume), but the energy.

The last time we were in Tucson, Arizona, my friends the Saguaro Cactus (who have been talking to me and teaching me for many years) directed me to visit the Sequoias and the Redwoods (that trip is yet to come) to exchange energy. Before we went to see the Sequoias, they told me that I had been a medicine woman in that area in the past and they were expecting me, and preparing me, for my visit. They even called me by my medicine woman name (which I never could really hear, but I could feel). I was thrilled with this information and began preparing immediately.

When we arrived, I talked to the largest trees in the many groves of the giant Sequoias and to the smaller trees. The smaller trees invited me into their circle and told me that my medicine woman self had led ceremonies there with groups, and that we sat and listened. Listening was very important to them. They would tell us things about how to live, about the future, about ourselves. They protected us, enveloped us with their energy. They loved us; they showed us the way Home. They nurtured us through hard times, through grief, through unknowingness. They guided us and we loved them.

They also told me this: "You (SanRa) led ceremonies in groups; we together helped the earth. We moved together through many changes in the heavens, many changes in the earth. We hold an energy that benefits earth, and benefits humans and other life forms."

I asked the Sequoias what I could do for them and they told me: "It is not so much what you can do for us, but what we can do for you humans. Tell people to listen to us." I continued to listen, and although I did not hear in words what they said, I felt the immensity of their energy, of who they were. Being with them was an honor and a profound experience.

In my next communication, I will share more of what they told me.

Love and blessings to you all,

There was a trail near our campground where I walked almost every day. This was not where the giant Sequoias were, but these smaller, younger trees which had just as much beauty, light and wisdom.

Sitting under a small group of Sequoias that invited me in, I felt a subtle pulse. At first, I thought it was a heartbeat, but pulse is the best way to communicate the feeling. The Sequoias and I were all part of the pulse. I could feel it in me as I sat with them.

One of these Sequoias said to me (knowing they were addressing all of us), "Even though we are not big, we hold the memories. We hold the history of your people, their wisdom and that which you can learn from. We can help you to overcome choices that have hurt you, if you will listen to us. Listen from inside of yourselves. Listen to us. Even if you do not hear words, you will hear what you need to; to choose who you are and what you need, from the purpose that you came to this earth to live from."

"We help you to remember from when you lived before you were upon this earth, to bring that memory to this time on earth so that you can continue in your work."

"We come from the stars and we hold memories of you and of earth's history. We can bring peace between you and earth if you will listen and ask us to help you remember. This time on earth will help you to remember. This time on earth will help you to bring those times that are separated from you now, together again so that purpose of humans and earth can be honored, can be completed. Listen to us, remember . . ."

"When you listened to us in our past times together, when we shared ourselves with you and you shared yourselves with us, much was given; much was placed into us to be retrieved when you came back in your future (NOW is that future). Listen to us and you will know again who you are. We have stored your knowing and what we have done together, and now we offer it back to you. NOW is the time of remembering and knowing who you are. This is the time that we, together, were preparing for in our past times together; to help you, to help the earth, to be true to that which you chose in your ancient past, when you first came to this earth. AWAKEN AGAIN! NOW is the time that we both worked together to prepare you for, when we shared energy in your past. LISTEN TO US! NOW IS THE TIME YOU HAVE BEEN PREPARING FOR!

"We hold the history of the planet and humanity, yes. But we hold other energy for the planet and those upon it. That is why the Saguaros have asked you (SanRa) to bring their energy to us, and also to our friends the Redwoods. Those of us who have specific, unique energy upon the planet are now meaning to join together to bring all of our unique gifts in deeper cooperation with each other to assist the planet, first and foremost; and then all the life upon it. Sit with us now and assist with the deeper connection. Thank you. You will be able to do this whether you are in our physical presence or not."

My understanding is that there are a few plant or tree species that exist only in a specific place on the planet, like the Saguaros in Southern Arizona and Sonora, Mexico; like the Sequoias only on the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada range in California; like the Redwoods only on the northern coast of California. There are other species that I am not aware of that only exist in certain areas and hold a special energy. I am assigned to these three, but I am sure other people are being guided to work with other species in this way to help earth. I am so honored to help in this way and I hope you will sit with the Sequoias in your own meditations.

Much love and blessings,

Quote from Patricia Kirkman
Quote from a Psychic - Connecting

I asked Patricia Kirkman how she connected with her client's energy. She answered:

"I ask for their birth name and birth date. From that, I start getting information. Some of it is physical; I am writing it and looking at it. Other comes to me intuitively and I'll ask them questions. They validate the information for me. It comes from different directions. I'm not looking for anything specific, other than their name and birthday. As soon as I get that, I start receiving other information."

Foretelling Death

Foretelling Death

Three weeks ago, I wrote a blog in which I wondered how much to believe psychic predictions. Sometimes predictions come true, and sometimes they don't. You can read the "Believe it or Not?" post by scrolling down to June 1. One part of the blog wondered why psychics didn't know when someone close was about to die.

I received several interesting responses to that post. A couple of them were about the idea of knowing, in advance, someone's time of death.

One woman explained her experience with predicting death. She wrote so perfectly that I am going to quote her, but I won't use her name in case she isn't ready to be public about this. She said:

"I used to get a clear and unrelenting message whenever someone around me was going to die, to include the specifics of when and, sometimes, how. I'd also walk through a crowd and I could tell who was not long for this world. This became like having a radio only you could hear blasting doom in your ear.

"I lost a lot of family members and loved ones to tragedy and bizarre accidents over a short span of time. I'd received warnings on all of them. I was not able to ‘change,' anything; they still died. The guilt that accompanies this is horrendous. I decided that this was not a good gift, as all it allowed me to do was grieve in advance.

"I do not know the origin of these messages. It was a very clear voice that I did not know, that spoke without contractions, no ‘can't, won't, hasn't,' etc. Whatever it was, it was its own vibration, very distinct from others that, say, warn you about shady people, a coming rainstorm on a clear day, what your Mom REALLY wants for her birthday, or that you need to call your cousin. All I can assume is that it is a ‘signal,' if you will, a wavelength independent and separate from normal psychic informational flow.

"One day I firmly decided that I did not want to receive any further messages about soon-to-be dead people. I've not gotten a single message since. I still can sense them, however, only it's not as ‘loud,' and overpowering. It's just a feeling. I'll think to myself, ‘Yep, that guy has about three months . . .' and sure enough.

"I've never come across anyone else who had this ‘gift,' so I am really winging it here. I think that psychics are like any other specialty, i.e., doctors, technical folks . . . They tend to specialize in, and focus on, what is meaningful to both themselves and those they advise. In other words, their radar is tuned to humanity. Folks that get the psychic version of a verbal death card warning about other people are tuned in another direction. It's some kind of connection to a netherworld, or in-between existence, that provided me this knowledge. There was neither light nor darkness associated with it, it just . . . well . . . was.

"I've never had any interest in reopening that doorway. Again, all it seemed to do was allow me to grieve in advance and feel a degree of inappropriate responsibility that I could not mitigate. Weird thing was, the sadder I was and the more I grieved, the stronger and more frequent these messages were.

"I've since re-tuned my radar and am a much happier and peaceful person for it."

What a wonderful, thorough, explanation!

I've spoken with several other people who know in advance when someone is going to die. Two people can smell it. They say that people who are about to pass have a certain scent. Another person tells me that the soon-to-be-gone person looks "transparent" two days before they pass. A fourth person tells me that someone who is about to pass loses their aura. When she looks at someone and can't see their aura, she knows it won't be long.

Honestly, I've probably spoken with other people who also know in advance, I just can't remember how they know. If you are one of those people who know about death in advance, please e-mail me and tell me about your experience.

Another blog reader commented on the timing of death. She said that we decide when we are going to pass. Very often there is a series of small, seemingly inconsequential, decisions. Then, our Higher Self works things out on an unconscious level.

She added:

"What psychics see are lines of probability. For every event, we have many probable choices. Our physical self chooses one outcome, but the other choices continue energetically. Think of it like rays of the sun shooting out in different directions. All are equally valid. And as we change our minds, we create different futures.

"Asking a psychic is, in a way, giving away your own power because we know the answers inside if we would only listen and trust ourselves. We also create our own future in every decision we make. Our higher self follows our choices."

A different blog reader commented on the fact that a predicted baby girl arrived as a baby boy. She suggested that we wait and see if the child is gender fluid.

Thank you for your insightful comments. There is so much to know. Combining our knowledge benefits all of the blog readers.

Take care.

Quote from a Psychic - Responsibility

"I am responsible to the Cosmos and to the Divine for the information which I give. What a client does with the information is their business, but I am responsible for the utmost clarity and for making sure that my clients understand the information to the best of their ability. I take that responsibility very seriously."

I'm back from vacation. You may have noticed that I didn't blog last week. I also missed the Psychic Fair, didn't meditate for 10 days, and didn't even check Facebook.

What did I do? I flew to Colorado with my husband and daughters for a family reunion. Then, we drove back to Tucson, visiting the wonders of the southern Utah national parks.

My trip motto? "I'm a viewer, not a do-er." We would drive to a national park, get out of our mini-van (yes, we rented a mini-van), look at the sights, take a walk, take photos, then get back in the mini-van and drive to the next site. No extended hikes. No camping in the desert. Just taking in the views, wandering around, and moving on.

In five days, we saw six national parks, and several other attractions:

Royal Gorge, CO (we rode the train!)
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, CO
Moab, Utah
Arches National Park, Utah
Canyonlands National Park, Utah
Capitol Reef National Park, Utah
Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah
Zion National Park, Utah
Glen Canyon Recreational Area, including the Glen Canyon Dam, AZ, and
Lake Powell, AZ.

Even though I didn't interview any psychics, I had a fascinating conversation with a young woman who has begun seeing, and conversing with, the deceased. While I may not have sought out psychic connections, this is still my favorite type of conversation.

In addition, I had one moment of quiet reflection in Zion National Park where I saw plants in all kinds of environments, including some growing out of rocky ledges. Nature provides the proper environment for every plant to thrive, just as Earth provides the environment for every kind of life experience we care to create.

That's what I did last week. How about you? Anything interesting going on?

P.S. Thank you for all the terrific responses to my blog post about whether or not to believe psychic predictions. You guys know so much!

Believe it or Not?

Announcement: The Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair will be this Sunday, June 4, at the DoubleTree Inn across from Reid Park. The Fair runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. I won't be set up at this Fair. I think they will be okay without me. Wink

Believe it or Not?

I believe psychics tap into a source of information which I am not privy to. However, my trust can be tested when I think they should have known in advance about something which happened, or I see that their predictions don't come true. How am I supposed to explain the lack of information when it doesn't come through, and trust the information which is shared? Should I believe it or not?

Last week, I was perplexed because:

1) A psychic friend died in March. Why didn't anyone have a clue he was going to pass?

2) Another intuitive had a tumor. Shouldn't she have received a heads up that something was amiss?

3) A friend was expecting a grandbaby. In two dreams, she clearly saw a little girl. Then the baby was born - a boy. Why would she have received the indication it was a girl when it was a boy?

4) A psychic had said that the birth was not going to be as quick and easy as anticipated. The stork would go "Ack!" That didn't happen. The grandmother told us that it had been a quick, easy, first-time birth.

5) Two years ago, a psychic said that my daughter would marry very soon and very happily. Not yet.

These situations make no sense to me. What is the point of being psychic if you don't know important things? What is the point of receiving an incorrect message? How can I have faith in any of this when the predictions are sometimes incorrect? How can I have confidence in all that I write and share?

On the other hand, I am elated when messages are correct. Yes, that happens too.

I've asked psychics why predictions don't come true. They tell me that people have free will. Often, predicted events change when people make a different choice. For example, they are going to school for archeology, then decide to go into culinary arts. They change their trajectory.

In several cases above, there was no trajectory to change. The baby boy was a baby boy. One explanation - the girl in the dream was elsewhere in the family. Hmmm.

Psychics also explain that timing is hard to predict, and that it is often difficult to read for people who are close to them. What they see can be influenced by what they want to happen for the person.

When I asked Laurie Hays why things don't always happen as predicted, she reminded me of the importance of skepticism. She told me that not everything works out in the order we think. It's important to keep an open mind, but it's also good to be a little skeptical. A little skepticism keeps us humble, keeps us practical, and keeps us intelligent. She considers the combination of a little skepticism and an open mind, healthy.

She added, "If you are always skeptical, you aren't open to anything new. If you accept everything, there is a gullibility. We need balance. I say that for all of us. I run the messages through my filter. I weigh them."

Another psychic remarked, "It's a good idea to see what a message feels like inside. There are times people say something and it doesn't feel right inside. Most of the time, messages from Spirit resonate within me. I know. Sometimes it takes a while to unfold. It isn't over 'til it's over."

In my meditation, I asked, "What am I to make of this? Sometimes people's predictions are correct and sometimes they are not."

This thought came to me: You are looking for a framework for mystical ideas. You are looking to organize the information so it makes sense. There is no sense. There is no organization. It is what it is. You can't apply a logical framework to a mass of energy. You can't put energy and ideas in a box. You can't promote psychics as infallible. They aren't. Sometimes it comes true, sometimes it doesn't. It's life. You roll with it."

Ah. Roll with it. We don't get to know everything in advance. We get hints. We make connections. We see what happens.

What have you experienced? Have the predictions you heard come true, or not? You can let me know via e-mail at
